What Shapes Us

Our core values are the heartbeat of Life Church. They guide how we worship, how we treat people, how we serve, and how we lead. They aren’t just beliefs — they’re how we live out our faith every day, together.

TRUTH

We stand firmly on God’s Word. We teach, live, and speak biblical truth with clarity and grace, helping people build lives grounded in Scripture, not opinion.

COMMUNITY

We grow stronger together.
Faith is meant to be lived in relationship. We prioritize connection, belonging, and shared experiences across all ages and backgrounds.

AUTHENTICITY

We keep it real.
We show up honestly, lead with vulnerability, and create spaces where people don’t have to pretend—because real change starts with real people.

LOVE

We reflect the heart of Christ. We extend radical compassion and welcome to everyone—not as a strategy, but as a way of life rooted in the love we’ve received from God.

TRUE WORSHIP

We give God our whole hearts. Worship isn’t just music—it’s surrender. We honor God with passionate praise and a lifestyle that prioritizes Him above all else.

GENEROSITY

We live open-handed. We give freely of our time, gifts, and resources, trusting that God multiplies what we release. Generosity is our joy, not our obligation.

EXCELLENCE

We give God our best. Excellence isn’t about perfection—it’s about purpose. We approach our work with intention, care, and integrity, believing that excellence honors God and inspires people.

Our Worship

Worship is more than music — it’s a response to who God is and what He’s done. Our gatherings are marked by passionate praise, heartfelt prayer, and space to encounter the presence of God.

We come together to lift up Jesus with joy, reverence, and expectation.

With Our Whole Selves

We believe in expressive worship — including lifting our hands as a biblical sign of surrender, celebration, and reverence.

We Welcome the Holy Spirit

Our worship environment makes room for the operation of the spiritual gifts, as taught in Scripture — with order, clarity, and sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading.

We Celebrate with Music

From drums to guitars to joyful voices, we use musical instruments as an act of praise and celebration. Worship is dynamic, heartfelt, and full of life.

We Share What God Has Done

Testimonies are a big part of our culture. We regularly give space for people to share stories of God’s faithfulness — because every story builds faith and brings glory to God.

We Worship Together

Worship at Life Church is not a solo act — it’s a shared experience. Every voice matters, every person belongs, and when we gather, we encounter God as one family.

Our Beliefs

Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus. They shape how we live, love, and serve — and they guide everything we do as a church. As part of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), we hold to the core truths found in Scripture and invite you to explore what that means for everyday life.

  • The Word

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — true, timeless, and the ultimate guide for our lives. It reveals God’s character, His plan for humanity, and how we can live in relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

  • God

We believe there is only one true, living God — the Creator of all things — who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These are not separate persons, but distinct manifestations of the same divine being.

In Jesus Christ, the fullness of God dwells bodily. He is both fully God and fully man — the visible image of the invisible God. As Father, He is above us; as Son, He came to be with us; and as the Holy Spirit, He now dwells within us.

Our belief in the oneness of God is rooted in Scripture, especially passages like Deuteronomy 6:4 and Colossians 2:9, and shapes our worship, identity, and relationship with Him.

  • Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Baptism is a vital step of faith, representing the washing away of sin and an essential element of our new life in Christ. It follows the example and teachings found throughout the New Testament, and particularly the book of Acts.

  • The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is alive and active in every believer’s life, empowering us to live for God, comforting us in times of need, and leading us into deeper truth.

We believe the Holy Spirit is not just a belief — it’s an experience. Just like the early church experienced on the Day of Pentecost, we believe in the ongoing outpouring of the Spirit, including the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This is a personal and powerful gift that draws us closer to God and strengthens our walk with Him.

Through the Spirit, we are equipped to live boldly, love deeply, and grow continually.

  • Christian Living

We believe following Jesus transforms every part of our lives. As believers, we’re called to live in a way that reflects His character — loving others, living with integrity, and growing in holiness.

Through prayer, studying God’s Word, and staying connected to the church, we grow in our relationship with Him. Christian living is about becoming more like Jesus every day and sharing His hope with the world around us.
